Roma: Dia Uno
Hey I found internet at some sidewalk cafe across from our apartment. Defintelly sipping on a decaf cappuccino, which by the way they are amazing in Italy. Our apartment is literally 200 meters from the Vatican/ St. Peter’s square. Yeah I defintelly suck at Italian though I was even aware that bon giorno ( said by brad pitt in inglourious basterds) was actually good morning. However, it is alot like Spanish so sometimes I just speak Spanish to them and they kind of get it. This city is pretty amazing, I haven’t really taken it all in because I am reaching my thirty sixth hour of being awake and I am beat. The flight was pretty swinging and airline food sucks, I guess the cliche comedians joke “Whats up with airline food?” has meaning to me now. I had some frigolli pasta just a couple hours ago and that was pretty awesome. After dinner the waiter gave us liquer for desert which was pretty cool. Some lemon sweet thing idk it was delish. Court took a lot of pictures of course. Oh yeah this place is litered with “gelato” shops and tourist stuff so we try to stay away from that. The weather is feeling awesome We are just sitting here (8:20 pm) and it’s 70 and no humidity or bugs! Oh and we walked quickly through the “Pantheon” which is the giant dome building. Wow it was huge!!!! (Get Dome.) we will be getting more dome tomorrow on the Vatican tour, you know the bigone were michaelangelo painted on his back for like a year or whatever. So that should be cool. Oh yeah I am Tagging you in this note because I cannot really talk to you during the day. Each text is 50 cents and calling is over a dollar a minute. I will write more tomorrow about the trip and I think courtney will be loading up the pictures (facebook whore) alrighty peace!
